Contractor Websites

Contractor website design that gets the phone ringing, wherever you work

Web design for contractors and home-services businesses in any state: plumbers, electricians, roofers, builders, landscapers, painters. You get a fast site that shows your real jobs, makes it easy to call or ask for a quote, and tells Google what you do and where you do it. One-time price from $300, and a free sample before you pay anything.

Based on Maui, building for the mainland too

You don't need a web designer in your town

Your customers are local. Your web designer doesn't have to be. Craig's Concrete Spacers, a rebar chair maker in Colorado, came together over phone, text and email, and the site went live with every carton price posted. If you can send a text and a few job photos, we can build your site.

How it works

Three steps, no site visit needed

1. See a free sample

Tell me your trade and your business name. I put together a sample homepage so you can see the direction before you spend a dollar.

2. Send what you have

Job photos, the services you offer, the towns you cover, and your license number if your state requires one. Text or email is fine.

3. Go live

Most sites go live in about a week. You look it over, and once you're happy we connect your domain.

Before you hire anyone

What a contractor website should do for you

Use this list on any designer, me included.

Say what you do, in the words customers search

"Water heater replacement" and "panel upgrade" are what people type, not "full-service solutions." Each service you want more of gets named plainly.

Name the towns you actually work in

Google matches a search to a place. A service area listed town by town tells it, and the customer, that you come to them.

Put proof where people look first

Photos of real jobs, your reviews, and your license and insurance. Stock photos of smiling men in hard hats prove nothing.

Make calling and quoting one tap

A call button that works on a phone, and a short quote form that lands in your inbox or as a text. Nobody fills out a 12-field form from a job site.

Load fast on a phone

Most of your customers will find you on their phone. A slow site loses them before they see your work.

Match your Google Business Profile

Same name, phone and service area on the site and the profile, so the two back each other up in the map results.

What it costs

Contractor website pricing, one-time

No monthly contract for the build. These are the same packages every client sees on the pricing page.

Starter, $300 to $500

1 to 3 pages, a contact form, your domain, and basic SEO setup. Fits a one-truck outfit that needs to look legit when a referral looks you up.

Business, $800 to $1,500

Up to 5 pages, lead capture forms, full SEO, a blog, and Google Analytics. Fits a crew with several services to show and leads to track.

Premium, $2k and up

Unlimited pages, an online store, and priority speed work. Fits a supplier selling product online or a contractor with a big service list.

Optional care plan from $75 a month covers hosting, domain renewal and monthly edits. Cancel anytime.

Real trades sites

Sites I built for working businesses

One in Colorado, two in Hawaii. Open any of them and look around.

The contractor sample is a concept design for a fictional business, not a real client.

Common questions

Web design for contractors, the straight answers

Do you build websites for contractors outside Hawaii?

Yes. I'm based in Wailuku on Maui and work with businesses on the mainland too. Everything happens by phone, text or email, so where you are doesn't change the process or the price.

How much does a contractor website cost?

A one-time build runs $300 to $500 for 1 to 3 pages, $800 to $1,500 for up to 5 pages with lead forms and a blog, and $2k and up for larger sites or an online store. The deposit is 50% of the package's starting price and comes off the total.

How long does it take?

Most sites go live in about a week once I have your photos and service list. See how long a website takes for what speeds it up or slows it down.

Will it help me show up on Google for my trade and town?

Every build names your services and service area in the places Google reads, and the site is set up to match your Google Business Profile. Nobody can promise a ranking, and anyone who does is guessing. If you want ongoing help, there is Google Business Profile management and SEO management.

Do I have to pay every month?

No. The build is a one-time price. The care plan, from $75 a month, is optional and covers hosting, domain renewal and monthly edits.

I'm on Maui. Is there a page for me?

Yes, Maui contractor websites covers island trades, local searches and the Maui sites I've built.

See your contractor site before you pay

Send your business name and trade, and I'll put together a free sample homepage. Or send your current site and I'll tell you straight what's working and what's costing you calls. No charge, no pressure.
